MCA's Dr Wee roots for Barisan's Tok Mat in Rantau


PETALING JAYA: MCA President Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong says that he is rooting for Barisan Nasional Rantau candidate Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan in the state elections.

In a post on his social media accounts, Dr Wee accompanied the Barisan deputy chairman and said that Rantau voters should keep their incumbent state assemblyman.

"Accompanying BN Deputy Chairman, YB Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, who is also Barisan candidate for the Rantau state seat to the nomination centre," said Dr Wee.

He added that Mohamad gave a short speech followed by a prayer before leaving his Rantau residence.

"Johor Exco and Paloh state assemblyman Lee Ting Han was also present to support Tok Mat. MIC Negeri Sembilan Chairman Datuk VS Morgan and Makkal Sakti President Datuk Seri R.S. Thanenthiran were also present," said Dr Wee.

"Here’s wishing Tok Mat the very best! Please vote for candidate number 2 from Barisan Nasional," he added.

Barisan’s Mohamad from Umno will be defending his Rantau seat against Rozmal Malakan from PAS.
