Soybean oil is by far the main feedstock used for biodiesel production in Brazil. In 2024, nearly 7.2 million cubic meters of this raw material were consumed for the production of biodiesel. Meanwhile, around 589 thousand cubic meters of bovine fat were used for the same purpose. The overall consumption of raw materials for biodiesel production in Brazil has seen a steady increase over the past decade.
