There’s a lot of things you can call Alyse Vellturo — fun, goofy, emo, talented, creative; but no matter the project Alyse will always show up as one thing: herself.
Alyse has been a valued part of The Orchard for over seven years working within the Label Management department to support the releases coming through record labels such as Downtown Records, Dine Alone Records, Equal Vision Records, Dangerbird Records, Black Box Entertainment, Alt:Vision Records and so many more.
Bringing together her industry knowledge, passion and fellow music-lovers, Alyse founded and is now CEO of Brooklyn-based Sleep Well Records. The label is home to the likes of Charles Fauna, Sulene, Cape Francis, Beauty Queen, Henry Nowhere, Alan Tate, and Funeral Advantage.
Also known by the pseudonym Pronoun, Alyse Vellturo began her own artist project just over four years ago and quickly saw traction across streaming platforms and editorial, alike. After just one EP, Pronoun has toured beside some of her all-time favorite artists including Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional among others.
In case she wasn’t doing enough, Alyse has been gearing up for her next Pronoun EP, OMG I MADE IT coming out next week, June 11. The record features new singles “I WANNA DIE BUT I CAN’T (CUZ I GOTTA KEEP LIVING)” and “I’M RIGHT BACK IN IT.”
