As part of legacy plans for the Bootham Crescent site, York City Football Club would like to welcome suggestions for further naming of parts of the development.

The club have already agreed in principle with Persimmon Homes and City of York Council that two roads on the housing development will be named ‘David Longhurst Way’ and ‘Keith Walwyn Walk’ – in tribute to our former players.

Further to this, we would like supporters to suggest names for the four apartment blocks which we plan to advise on for Persimmon. Supporters can suggest anything in connection with the club - former players, managers, staff, directors, fans or even teams e.g. Those Happy Wanderers.

In line with government advice to councils, names of living people can not be considered.
