Chairman's Challenge 1
For his first challenge, Dan is going to parachute from 2 miles high some time in October! Please give generously.
Dan Land is the Councillor for Thorpe-Le-Soken, Beaumont and Great Holland and is the continuing Chairman of Tendring District Council during the municipal year 2020/21. He has chosen CVST as his charity and will be raising as much money as possible in the next nine months for us.
Dan has always been a keen supporter of CVST, he was a board member for some years and is passionate about the work we do. He will be doing a number of activities and events throughout the year to raise money for this long established charity which will support its work in reducing loneliness and isolation, helping people to gain new skills through training and volunteering, getting people more active and working with local communities to support voluntary action.
"CVST offer such a broad range of services and has helped so many people in Tendring, sometimes at their lowest point in life. They are a ray of hope, give informed advice and know exactly what services are available locally to help people of all ages and circumstances. With your support, it will be an honour to raise valuable funds for them this year. If we could all just give a pound, think of the positive impact it would have"
