Each building’s school site council is made up of parents, community members, and school staff. The purpose of the school site council is to provide input/feedback to the school on such matters as student learning, education programs, and school improvement planning. The site council also plays an advocacy role for the school regarding the same issues, and provides ongoing support for the students and staff of the school.
A change was made in our bylaws to ensure equitable representation across the district. Members will be permitted to serve on one of the four building site councils.
Members of School Site councils will be invited to attend the District Site Council Meetings.
If you would like to apply to become a member of your child's school site council, please complete the following form and submit it by August 30, 2023. You be notified within the next week or two with our first meeting for all buildings. We thank you for your support of our school community.
