Wonders of Venezuela
Date: 23 Feb 2024 (Fri)
Time: 3:30pm-5:00pm

Situated in the far north of the South American continent, Venezuela is a fascinating country with a rich and diverse history, culture, and natural beauty. But it is also facing a complex and difficult situation in terms of its economy, politics, and social issues, while news reports rarely go beyond discussing crude oil or relations with China or the USA. Let us dig a little deeper and host an afternoon of Venezuelan stories and snacks for casual conversations with our guests to understand both culture and life in a land as far from Hong Kong as you can get.

Myths and Legends from Around the World
Date: 26 Feb 2024 (Mon)
Time: 5:30pm-7:00pm

‘Once upon a time, there was Thor, the God of Thunder.’ ‘Long ago, a woman named Chang'e flew to the moon.’ You might have heard of these myths before, but let us transport you into a whole new realm of myths and legends. Immerse in timeless tales from various countries as we uncover the values, beliefs, and hidden insights embedded in these enchanting narratives. Whether you believe these myths and legends to be true or not, this workshop is not to be missed!
