  • VIRTUAL CORPORATE MIXER

    18 Sep

    The Top 250 Global Startups will have the chance to participate in a virtual Corporate Mixer event to address challenge statements from corporate partners

  • PHYSICAL IMMERSION


    25 - 27 Oct

    The Top Global 50 Global Startups will fly down to Singapore to meet and network with local ecosystem partners.

  • DOMAIN FINALS &
    GRAND FINALS

    31 Oct - 2 Nov

    The Top 50 Global Startups will pitch live to a global audience of investors and industry leaders at our Domain Finals, as part of SWITCH 2023. The Top 10 Global Startups will then move on to pitch at the Grand Finals for the chance to be SLINGSHOT 2023’s Grand Winner.

Application Phase | 10 April - 31 July 2023

Deliverables to Submit

Register on the platform and submit a PDF presentation (10-slides maximum, in English only) with the following details:
 
  • Your problem/solution
  • Market and total addressable market (TAM)
  • Value proposition and positioning
  • Go-to-market strategy
  • The business/revenue model
  • Traction: KPI metrics & milestones
  • Forecast 2023/2024
  • Team Presentation

Assessment Method

Projects will be assessed based on the following criteria by a panel of esteemed jury members from the five challenge domains:
  • Technical Depth
  • Team
  • Growth Potential
  • Feasibility of Business Model
  • Differentiation & Impact of Value proposition

Results Announcement

The Top 250 Global Startups will be selected to progress to the Deepening Phase.
 
The results will be released between 24-28 August 2023.

The Top 250 Global Startups will have a chance to participate in SLINGSHOT Corporate Mixer to connect and network with innovation-ready corporates. More information to come at a later date!

Deepening Phase - Top 250 Global Startups

29 August - 12 September 2023

Deliverables to Submit

The Top 250 Global Startups will need to submit a 2-minute video introducing their business, elevator pitch style!


Submit your video pitch by 12 September 2023, 23:59 (GMT+8) to be considered for the next phase.

Results Announcement

Projects will be reviewed by a jury panel of investors and corporates, with the Top 50 Global Startups progressing to SLINGSHOT 2023’s Physical Finals.

The results will be announced between 28 - 29 September 2023.

 

SLINGSHOT 2023 Physical Finals - Top 50 Global Startups

31 October - 2 November 2023

Pitching Event

SLINGSHOT’s Top 50 Global Startups will pitch LIVE in Singapore as part of the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2023. In addition to a judging panel of leading corporates, investors and thought leaders, the competition will be watched closely by the startup communities across the globe.

All Top 50 Global Startups will also be invited for dealmaking and networking opportunities with corporates and investors from respective industries prior to and during the Physical Finals.

After the initial pitch, SLINGSHOT 2023’s Top 10 Domain Winners will be announced on 1 November 2023. The competition will continue during the Grand Finals on 2 November 2023, as the Top 10 Global Startups vie once more for the title of SLINGSHOT 2023’s Grand Winner.

Prizes

Grant prizes* will be awarded to the Top 10 Domain Winners as well as the 2nd Runner Up, 1st Runner Up, and the Grand Winner to enable you to grow your business and further develop your product in Singapore.

The Grand Winner of SLINGSHOT 2023 will receive:

  • S$200,000 Startup SG Grant Prize
  • 18 months’ rent-free space at LaunchPad

The 1st Runner Up of SLINGSHOT 2023 will receive:

  • S$150,000 Startup SG Grant Prize
  • 12 months’ rent-free space at LaunchPad

The 2nd Runner Up of SLINGSHOT 2023 will receive:

  • S$100,000 Startup SG Grant Prize
  • 6 months’ rent-free space at LaunchPad

The Top 10 Startups will each receive:

  • S$50,000 Startup SG Grant Prize
