We will hold an orientation meeting by zoom at 9 AM on May 17th to answer questions and give an overview of the event to participating contractors.
A hiring event targeting out-of-work members, non-union skilled tradespeople, and interested applicants of all ages. Participants will go through a skills course to highlight their knowledge and hustle. Contractors will be able to "scout" participants and conduct interviews for on-the-spot hiring and recruitment.
Contractors should be prepared to bring their hiring teams. We will have a viewing platform to scout candidates as they go through the course. You'll have the opportunity to pull candidates of interest to you back to a hiring area. We encourage bringing a pop-up tent and any materials you need to recruit and interview candidates.
