Hello everyone! My name is Luis, and I want us to build a fortune in the Web3 space, a.k.a, Crypto and NFT's! It all started from sitting in an AMC theaters, seeing Matt Damon on the screen promoting Crypto.com, stating "Fortune Favors the Brave". I was skeptic at first, but then realized that several successful people that we may look up to were investing in this! I was inspired to do my own research in Cryptocurrency and not follow the flock of skeptics; especially after hearing from some important sources such as Michael Saylor, Tom Bilyeu, Mark Cuban, Kevin O'Leary, Elon Musk, and Tony Robbins. They all mentioned in their own way the opportunity of investing in these assets. I can understand the people on the other side of the fence, that may claim things such as, "It is not regulated by the Government, the creators of these Cryptocurrencies just want to scam you for your money, these assets have no real value, this crypto market is bound to go under and everyone will lose their money, I don't know where is my money and who is controlling it, etc. The list can go forever! I was very close to believing all these claims, but as I mentioned before, I refused to be a skeptic and took action to see how things worked on Web3 for myself. I first educated myself on how to safely purchase Crypto assets and what exchanges (where you purchase crypto) were proven to be secure. I then learned about the blockchain, and how transactions are tracked in a chain of literal digital blocks. What I most fell in love with is the decentralized system of how things work with Crypto, in other words, we have complete control of our assets and their monetary value. Moving forward, my first ever purchase was Ethereum (ETH). I bought ETH because I wanted to purchase my first NFT (Non-Fungible Token), and to be specific I wanted to purchase an NFT created by Strangeloop Studios who partnered with one of the biggest icons in the planet, "The Weeknd". In short, I believe some NFT's carry so much value because of the rarity of the art, the artist behind it, and the scarcity (only a few created). Other NFT collections such as the BoredApeYachtClub (BAYC) are extremely valuable because of the utility; for example, I have a Bored Ape NFT, I am an aspiring musician wanting to build connections with other artists in hopes of advancing my career. Post Malone, another massive icon, has a Bored Ape NFT as well. The creators of BAYC plan out an event for all NFT holders to attend and celebrate. The location can be irrelevant, but here I come and happen to become friends with Post Malone and other potential important figures.
