Weekly News

We are so proud of our "superhero" Kindergarten students! They were great performances at their concert this week singing, keeping the beat, and using motions. Thank you to Mx. G. and the Kindergarten team for all their hard work in preparing and supporting students!

This week we look forward to hosting Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 20th (1:00-8:30 pm) and Tuesday November 21st (8:15 am-1:30 pm). If you haven't already, there is still time to sign-up. We look forward to partnering together for each child's success!

Please note: there is NO SCHOOL the week of November 20th for conferences and the Thanksgiving holiday. School will resume on Monday, November 27th.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent-Teacher Conferences are this week! On Monday, November 20th, from 1:00 - 8:30 pm and on Tuesday, November 21st, from 8:15 am - 1:30 pm we welcome parents to join us for one-on-one conversations regarding student growth and progress. Locate your child's teacher and sign up for specific time slots here: HH Parent-Teacher Conferences 23-24. As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher.

Looking for Help!

Are you looking for a way to support the Heather Hill Community? Do you have availability before and after school? The Flossmoor Police Department is hiring crossing guards for schools in Flossmoor, including Heather Hill! Please see the job posting on the Village of Flossmoor website. Please feel free to pass this along to friends and family. Even if candidates can dedicate a few days of week, they are welcome to apply!

Lost and Found

It's that time of year! It's getting colder and students are dressing for the weather by bringing jackets, sweaters, hats, and gloves. This is also the season that our lost and found begins to grow. Please make sure to label your student's belongings with their name so we can return it to them easily. We also welcome students and parents to come to the office to claim items!

Birthday Treats

In order to ensure the safety of all students, families may only bring non-edible birthday treats to school to share with classmates. We cannot accept any food items to distribute to students as many students have serious food allergies. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
