The survey conducted by McGraw Hill on the business value of BIM for construction in major global markets reported 75% of surveyed contractors showing positive ROI.

Traditionally contractors and sub-contractors were depended on 2D drawings for various tasks including bidding, tendering, estimating and design coordinating.
