Its inhabitted island with 1500 local citizens. Its 5km in circuit - I run it.
its close to Male - 30min by speedboat - cost 25$/person.
Had no isuse with local people, all nice ot at minimum neutral.
Island has 2 bikini beaches, Dream Beach - the one close to sunset beach I enjoyed more. Water crystal clear, nice very gentle white sand.
on island several restaurants - you can find the one used also by locals and few more turist popular.
There is no reef but no issue to go for snorekling routes.
There is couple of bigger buildings in process to be build up - suppose more hotels.
Island is popular among surfers -but I do not surf so cant judge posibilities.
Locals could care more about the surroundings, general cleanliness could be far much better. Same as lack of garbage bins and recycling of plastic bottles.

We were there for 5 nights and on one of the nights we went to a local resort and still we had a lot of time on the island
There is a lot to do on the island though and I am sure if it wasn't so hot we would have explored some more
A 3-night stay would be the ideal length or maximum 4

Thulusdhoo is gem of an island. Locals are amazing! Took a stroll on the island. So many places to sit and enjoy the ocean. Just like all the islands, there is an issue with trash on the island. But we saw this in Jamaica as well. Definitely needs to be fixed. Either by the government or a cluster of hotels doing business on this island. Nothng to take away from the amazing experience we had. 5-star all the way!

A perfect way to experience what the Maldives has to offer on a budget.
A beautiful atoll with abundant nature all around .
Golden beaches .crystal blue water .
An all important ATM machine .
Shops , tours , snorkelling , scuba diving , jet ski hire , good restaurants.
I sat at the beach restaurant of my hotel checking 2 surf spots , watching pods of dolphins swim between the atolls , and overlooking the lagoon that lies between the beach and the sea .
Speedboats to the surfbreaks were a minutes walk along the golden beach at the entrance to the lagoon .
There is bicycle hire or golf cart style taxis to get around or you could enjoy the walk and discover .

One of the best island that I visited, not so much crowd and touristy like in Maafushi but still get the best vibe of tourism and warm welcome from the locals.
Great variation of restaurant and mostly all tasty and offer great food.
The island is super small so you might finished it walk around in few hours, you might bump each other couple of times in a day.
It was too good to stay there so i don't think i have anything to avoid for my next visit but definitely stay longer

The team at Eden Blue is fantastic including Mr Ahmed, polyglot Mr Ismail and Mr Harshad . All of them are really helpful and made my stay sweet and memorable at Thulsudho. God bless you all.
Everything at the guesthouse was very fine and up to date.
I had a great stay in this property. The room was clean and spacious. The location is good. It is just 3-minute walk to the public beach from the hotel and you can even find hotel's designated sun beds. The breakfast included in room rate was a great value because the foods served during my stay were all tasty. All the staffs were all nice and always smile. Angela communicated well the timings, room amenities, and airport transfer pick up. Overall, everything went off so well. Highly recommended.
The staff was incredibly friendly, and eager to work with clients and those staying at the hotel. The room was comfortable, and generally met expectations. Location wise, no more than 10 minutes walk to shops, restaurants, and beach activities and associated vendors. Cokes surf break was easily accessible by foot from shore.
Great managers and staff!
They accompanied me to the local hospital to take my PCR test. Booked my ferry and helped with the transfer. Great food and view!
Thank you so much dear Canopus team. You are amazing! I think this is the best place to stay in Thulusdhoo. I got lucky to have chosen them without knowing before.
the property is conveniently located right across the beach. very central and extremely clean. very comfortable beds and big in size with extra bed. no disturbance like hotel and feels like home. delicious breakfast in the morning. very few people in it so feels very private and comfortable. definitely recommended.
I highly recommend this hotel for anybody coming to Maldives. They have beautiful garden Where you can take a rest or enjoy sitting outside at the evening for dinner. Place is charming and stuff is very helpfull. They were refilling for us water bottles anytime we needed. They organise trips as well.
Location was ideal, steps to bikini beach. Great pool with lots of direct sun and a private deck (6th story). Accommodating staff, most Western amenities are available. Set up a PCR test for my outbound trip along with transportation from MLE via speedboat. This is the nicest resort on Thulusdhoo.
Calm place, good staff. We liked the balcony overlooking the sea and palm trees, we sat and watched the beautiful sunset. We felt at home. We had some difficulties outside the hotel and they helped us a lot. They also helped with the boat from and to the airport and transfer to the pier.
Everthing. 😊Joy (from the hotel) was really friendly and managed all for us - for example transfer to the island or snorkeling. If you wake up in the morning with sea view, delicious breakfast, good vibes, amazing beach and kindly peoples… then you know how paradise is.
Sanjay is the manager of the hotel very profesional and very friendly helped me with all the informations and very good advices He get very good price for me with the fishing trip. He know a lot of locals tips wich could be very helpful for you !!! 5 stars from me !!!
Samura is located in the best possible location on Thulusdhoo. You can enjoy your meals whilst watching both Chickens and Cokes surf breaks right out the front. Staff are extremely helpful and place is very tranquil.
We look forward to being back next year!
So kind, hardworking and helpful staff. The house and my room looked nice and were always clean. Breakfast was excellent and I could choose the time when to eat.
Overall, it's a great place to stay if you choose Thulusdhoo for your next destination.
Beachfront and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant and fresh. Ample seating and canopied beach beds available footsteps from your porch. The staff was always available and friendly. Thank you Matteo and staff for making Thulusdhoo a dream🖤🖤
This property is not at all welcoming. We were moved to Samura maldives ( which is also managed by this property along with Samura Panorama) without prior informing. We were told they were overbooked.
The place and beach is beautiful though.
The staffs...Saud and Moors they are exceptional totally support all the guest needs, Saud take us around the island and show us the restaurant is good, where the bikini area is. We miss Thulusdhoo already and cant wait to be back
I loved everything about the Samura Panorama.
From the hall to the room, everything was really clean and tidy.
Interior is even better in real then on the pictures, its designed with a taste.
Really nice staff, nice location right in front of the Cokes break. It was fun to just chill with a cold juice watching the waves from the hotel's front yard.
