Just a word about aeration - Your lawn -especially with climate change and drought - becomes like concrete in a way so water and nutrients tend to run off .I know grass seed prices are outrageous right now so can see if want to skip a year to seed as with inflation out of control for everything, I can understand that lawn maintenance and improvement costs take a back seat this year. I would strongly suggest though that you should at least think about aeration.
