The Maywood Covid Relief Fund

The Covid pandemic has impacted people and businesses negatively everywhere all around the world.  My small business The Maywood, a live music venue, has served the triangle's local musicians and musical fans for almost 8 years and for 6 years previously as Volume 11 Tavern.  It is costing me roughly $3000 every month that we are closed.  When The Maywood was able to operate it actually covered the costs of running the venue.  Now that we are forced to stay closed, I have to cover the $3000 per month from the money that is keeping my family going.  Every little bit you can donate to The Maywood  will be used to pay back that monthly cost which could make the difference of The Maywood being able to afford to reopen it's doors when the time comes.  If we exceed our funding goals, then we will use the excess money to help out our staff which has been out of work this whole time as well.  We would not ask for help if it wasn't urgently needed, but know that every penny we receive will be greatly appreciated and used to keep the spirit of local music alive.
