Be a Champ, make the week count.
It's a New Week, Let's Rise Like Lincoln! This week might feel daunting after a setback, a bad grade, a job rejection, or a relationship hiccup. But listen up, because we're channeling Abraham Lincoln this Monday! Lincoln, the man who never quit, faced more defeats than most of us can imagine. He lost elections, businesses failed, and personal tragedies struck. Yet, he kept dusting himself off, learning from his mistakes, and pushing forward. Here's the thing: failure is not the opposite of success, it's part of the journey. Every misstep, every rejection, is a lesson learned. It teaches us what doesn't work, making us stronger and wiser for the next try. This week, let's embrace the Lincoln spirit: 📍Don't let setbacks define you. They're temporary bumps, not roadblocks. Learn from your mistakes. 📍Analyze what went wrong and adjust your approach. Never stop trying. Persistence is key. 📍Remember, even Lincoln, after countless failures, became one of America's greatest presidents. Remember, success rarely happens overnight, but with unwavering determination, we'll all get there eventually. Now go out there and conquer your week! #MondayMotivation #NeverGiveUp #Lincoln #Strength

Last month the Nigerian University of Technology and Management Board members visited African Development Bank Group president and his team for partnership on youth skilling in Africa. Everyone working in education, youth skill development and entrepreneurship in our continent needs pay attention and reflect on some of the points raised in that meeting. We ALL have to get to work. Let me highlight some of those points here: 1. “We are not doing well enough for Africa’s 477 million youths. We are not harnessing their skills, talent and creativity,” AfDB President Dr. Akinwumi Adesina. 2. “We are making progress building a great institution in Africa, to solve Africa’s problems” Babs Omotowa 3. “The quality of young Africans will be key to the development of Africa and the world,” Dr Omobola Johnson We have a talent gap in Africa yet, we must become the workforce of the world. What are you doing the be part of the solution. This is Why I love the NUTM model.
