Mellington Hall Country House Hotel in Mellington offers wonderful accommodation. Based near Churchstoke in a gorgeous holiday home park in glorious landscaped grounds, we are perfect for an idyllic break in Powys.

Our historic house is brimming with character and perfect for a memorable break in a stunning setting. We have 11 spacious and individual rooms to choose from to suit all needs.

All of our rooms are beautifully furnished and boast amazing views of the Welsh and Shropshire Hills. Most of the rooms can be made as twins and two of the rooms can be used for families. All the rooms are nestled on the first floor, reached via a magnificent 19th Century Gothic staircase.

Each of our rooms have a TV, coffee making facilities, boot tray, hairdryer, fresh towels, toiletries and a shaving point in the bathroom.

You can savour some delicious food whilst staying with us here at Mellington Hall Country House Hotel from our famous Afternoon Teas, light lunches, evening meals or Sunday lunches. Choose from a varied menu from free range chicken with fondant potato, squash puree, baby leek, kale and tarragon jus with bacon crumb or our Salmon Wellington, so there is certainly something for everyone. Vegans and vegetarians are catered for too. Some customers pop in for breakfast or stay a while to relax and sample our real ales which are on tap. Food is served from a Wednesday from 2.00pm through to Sunday evenings.

Onsite there is a static park with 118 static caravans. We also have a beautiful touring park offering hard standing pitches with hook-ups. We can also offer seasonal pitches with the most glorious views and secure caravan storage too.

We are situated on the Offa's Dyke path so there is plenty of scope to challenge yourself and walk along this famous ancient monument. For the less adventurous walkers, we have 270 acres of idyllic park and farmland surrounding the Hall with acres of woodland woodchipped paths. Dogs welcome on the paths.

There is an abundance of wildlife, from Kingfishers flitting between the trees, swans, ducks and even some Mandarin ducks swimming the pools so please bring your binoculars.

We are in a great location for exploring lots of brilliant attractions in the area. Within walking distance is the Kerry Vale Vineyard and you play a round at one of the local golf courses. Enjoy walking along The long Mynd or discover the amazing natural beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Great attractions to visit include:
