CHAPTER 5: HIS ANGELIC SMILE

(Ariana's POV)

            I received a lot of questions from them when I went to school the day after. Mitch nosily asked me many things, like how does he look? Is he friendly? Is he good-looking? Is he a boyfriend material? Will he be the one that I'm gonna marry? I just laughed at her and answered her questions one by one. I don't know how I answered all of those things, but I managed to. We decided to have a "friendship discussion" during the break.
            We were in the middle of our discussion when I suddenly sighed in frustration. My eyes suddenly widened and I covered my mouth. Sheez! Why'd you do that, Ari?! The three suddenly looked at me, each showed different reactions.
            "I'm sorry guys. I'm just a bit... tired, I guess," I broke the silence and smiled sheepishly. I'm so embarrassed. Gosh. I saw that Mitch put back the phone in her pocket and sighed.
            "Okay guys, I think Ari is in deep thoughts again. Maybe we can do this the other time," she rolled her eyes and smirked at me. I smiled sheepishly and sighed. I just gave all of them an apologetic smile. I don't know why I've been acting like this lately. It sucks, you know.
            After the lunch break, we decided to go movies. I just went with them just to, you know, hang out, even my mind's not really with me right now. We head into Liam's car, since Justin's car has been taken by his dad for some important event. As we were heading to the mall, I tried to keep Zayn off of my mind. I tried to talk and laugh with them. Yeah, I did that, but NOT TOTALLY. Ugh! I'm going crazy.
            As soon as we get there, Mitch suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the car. I tripped but then I managed to compose myself. Liam and Justin soon followed behind us. The security checked us and then let us in.
            "Woah! I wanna watch 'Unfriended' guys!" Mitch said with an eyebrow raised and a smirk on her face. (She saw that live board over there of cinemas, for sure.) WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?! IT'S A HORROR MOVIE, FOR PETE'S SAKE! You know I hate those kinds of movies! I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
            "We're not watching that, Ms. Andrews," I said firmly. A little frown was all over my face. She also rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. I chuckled of the thought that she imitated me. Silly.
            "Why not, Ms. Grande?" she questioned. I pouted and my little frown turned to a huge one. But of course, in a kidding manner. I will never hate my bestfriend. I love her with all of my heart. Cheesy, aren't we?
            "Mitchell! You know I hate those kinds of movies!" I shouted and stamped my foot. Here goes my 'childish' side again. Mitch just laughed and the other two just smirked.
            "Oh c'mon Ari! Time to face your fears, girl. You can hide at Justin's jacket, though!" she said and laughed. Liam and Justin also laughed and I feel a little bit humiliated. What the heck? You know I hate this feeling!
            "It's not funny guys," I said. Justin grabbed my hand and kissed my knuckles. Aww... He's so sweet. I blushed when I saw Liam and Mitch chuckled after he did that. I just gave them a death glare.
            "It'll gonna be okay, Ari. I'm here for you," Justin said and looked into my eyes. My eyes contrasted with his ocean blue eyes. I can't read his mind through his eyes 'cause it's full of emotions, something like that. I just gave him a smile and mouthed 'Thank you.'
            After we bought our tickets, we decided to have fun by playing in the arcade because the movie is showing in an hour. We still have an hour of fun, you know. We played a lot of games. Even if a 'real' two on two shooting game. I and Justin were blue team and we have to shoot all of our enemies - which is the red team, composed by Mitch and Liam. The first team to shoot ALL of the enemies is the winner. I really tried my best to hide and shoot them, but I'm not really good at this. As I was hiding on a cemented wall, I gasped when someone shoot me in my back. I turned around and I'm surprised to see Liam aiming a paintball gun to me. He smiled sheepishly and bowed his head down.
