Overview

In search of new material for Underground Telegraph, a scandal rag about all things supernatural, Natalie hits pay dirt. Alexa, a so-called sorceress in Romania claims to possess Dracula's real fangs. She and her colleagues, Jay and Amber decide to investigate further.

Next, they learn of Alexa's fatal and painful weapon: the Curse of the Urn. Hard as they try, they can neither prove nor disprove it. However, they do have crime scene photos of the curse's hideous aftermath and the unsolved murder of Freddie Woodley.

When it rains it pours in the City of Angels. Natalie, Jay, and Amber are suddenly caught up in a supernatural story surging throughout the Hollywood Hills. Wealthy couples appear to be on a vampire's hit list. Bloody rituals and exsanguination stories take over the news.

As they dig for answers, they learn that the vampire victims, along with Freddie Woodley had recently joined a new church, Nocturnal Brilliance. They suspect that this new church was offering something that all their money could not buy: eternal life. Right here, right now.

Are these two stories connected? Is it six degrees or six bloody drops of separation?

Note: This story is a sequel to Torrent Tragedy, Curse of the Urn.
