AMPANG: The police are tracking down the motorcyclist who went against traffic and caused another to fall to his death at Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Highway (SUKE).

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail urged those with information on the case to come forward.

"The post-mortem for the victim is being conducted at Hospital Ampang today. We are still tracking down the culprit," he said when contacted on Thursday (June 15).

On Wednesday (June 14), a motorcyclist going against the flow of traffic led to a fatal accident after another fell to his death after avoiding the incoming motorcycle.

ACP Mohd Azam had said that the victim, aged in his 60s, crashed his high-powered motorcycle into a road divider while trying to avoid the suspect.

The crash led to the victim falling from a height of around 30 metres.

"His body was found near the Sungai Klang SMART control centre. CCTV cameras caught the suspect leaving the scene and efforts are underway to trace the motorcyclist," he said.
