About this event

  • 3 hours

A practical introduction to the principles of Non Violent Resistance and how it can support parents and carers, over two days - 3 hours each day.

This training will focus on:

  • Parent/Carer Presence
  • Escalation and de escalation
  • Control vs Authority
  • Windows of Tolerance

As well as looking at the other key features of NVR and how these can be used to support families struggling with challenging behaviour.

This is a short course of 6 hours over 2 days (13th May & 20th May 2024) that will look at how NVR can be an effective tool for parents and carers.

Early adversity, biology and family dynamics can impact on children and their behaviour and NVR can be used to support parents and carers who are living with challenging violent and aggressive behaviour.
