Political Parties of Alcris

_Party How To's

Alcris has many several political parties, both new and old, that have shifted membership over the years. Each of the parties are always looking for members of like-minded citizens to help their efforts in the regional government. As always, Alcris as a whole encourages its citizens to participate in its politics. After all, the more that participate, the merrier.

Citizens are free to do a number of things to get involved with regional politics:

Citizens are free to join whichever political party they want to. To join a political party, contact the political party leaders via the links provided below.

Citizens are free to create a political party whenever they choose so long as that political party fulfills the party requirements. The party requirements are as follows:

  • Political Parties must have at least three citizens as members.

  • Political parties need to have three defined party policy points.

  • Political parties need an elected Party Leader.

To register your party, contact the Interior Councilor. The Interior Councilor will ask you about what the party has done to fulfil the requirements above, so have that information ready.

The following is a list of official political parties in Alcris. These parties currently fulfill each of the region's party requirements.

_The Unity Party

The Unity Party (Deutsch: Einheitspartei; Français: Parti de l'unité) is a party focused on globalism, participation in international alliances, an active foreign affairs policy, and looser immigration rules. Usually the party is also in support of the current electoral system, but some members have advocated for the introduction of a parliament into the system. The party is anti-world assembly, viewing the region's anti-WA stance as essential to preventing raids and keeping the region out of quarrels between the extremist regions on NationStates. The party is against the formation of a regional military, and supports neutrality.

The Unity Party supports a policy of regional neutrality, and rejects the notion of Alcris participating in an active way in the raiding and defending aspects of NationStates. The Unity Party supports an indefinite continuation of the regional recruitment telegram program. The party believes that a constantly active and growing population will help the region remain sustainable for the foreseeable future.

The current leader of the Unity Party is Wintermoore. To contact the party leader, click here.

_The Protectorate Party

The Protectorate Party (Deutsch: Die Protektoratspartei; Français: Le Parti du Protectorat) is a relatively moderate isolationist party which believes in a more concentrated and small foreign policy, and a regional government which focuses on fixing regional institutions more, getting the roleplay and other events organized and functioning properly, and forming a small network of allied regions that have proven to be similar in culture/structure/goals. The party is also anti-world assembly, seeing the organization as a method for larger regions to impose their will on smaller regions, and as a violation of Alcrisian sovereignty.

The party supports a strict immigration standard - including a verbal interview, citizenship exam on both RP rules and Constitutional rules, and an approval from the Security Councilor. The party supports neutrality, but believes a regional military should be established for protection.

The current leader of the Protectorate Party is Adaleide. To contact the party leader, click here.

_The Center Party

The Centre Party (Deutsch: Zentrumspartei; Français: Le Parti du Centre) is, as you may have guessed, a centrist party which promotes regional growth, multiculturalism, and forming a distinct regional community. The party is pro-world assembly, and supports an immigration system surrounding the WA. The party also is heavily against the introduction of a parliament, and believes that the current system of government is unique, and should be protected - and therefore also supports the direct democratic system Alcris has created.

The party supports participation in interregional alliances, and thinks that the region should cooperate with other likeminded regions on defense matters. The party is against forming embassies with regions that hold "extremist ideologies" viewing them as threats to regional security. The party supports multilingualism, but believes that the region should operate primarily in German, French, and Swedish.

The current leader of the Center Party is Victorian republic. To contact the party leader, click here.

_New West Indies-Alcris Partnership Party

New West Indies-Alcris Partnership Party, or NAPP, is a political party which aims to pursue greater interregional cooperation between Alcris and the New West Indies, create a lively cultural exchange between the two regions, and take steps towards but do not fully initiate a merger between the two regions. The party wishes to work to expand and create similar relations with like minded regions, and create new ways for members of those regions to obtain citizenship.

The party aims to keep multilingualism as official Alcrisian Policy, and expand the list and scope of languages supported by the region. On a security front, the party aims to ban R/D hosting and promotion in Alcris, including recruitment drives, and discourage it on an interregional level.

The current leader of the NAPP is Irs pirates. To contact the party leader, click here.
