I spoke to the Beninese Queen of African pop ‪@angeliquekidjo‬following the launching of her foundation #batongafoundation in #senegal🇸🇳 . In addition to her music, Kidjo is a passionate advocate for social justice and has worked with organizations such as UNICEF and Oxfam and in 2006, she founded the #batongafoundation with the goal to promote education and empower girls and women in Benin.
