My Experience

👀 This proposal in my eyes would imply the need for a branding and marketing coordinator role.

They would work with volunteer / contracted designers and maintain brand standards across submissions, collaborate with and contract volunteer copywriters, work to establish relevant partnerships, brainstorm on social and marketing pushes in tandem with key insights from the community, and work to implement the strategies outlined below.

🔖 My overarching intentions with this proposal are:

• 🖌️Develop a standardized brand, with cohesive visuals, a visual and asset library for contributors, a mission, vision, and purpose statement to direct all marketing ideation, establish a target demographic to speak to, and develop a do's and don'ts / general outlines for copywriting.
• 👥 Determine a marketing outreach and growth strategy moving forward to further establish our web presence on Twitter with more frequent posting, hashtag and retweet strategies, and with concrete goals and timelines in place to grow the follower base. This also extends to Medium to allow for more accessible content and information for more legitimacy and resource access for users, particularly those who are not intimately knowledgable with DeFi.
• ✉️In tandem with the marketing strategy and our mission/vision/purpose, thoughtfully curate messaging and outreach around our strengths (community-led, great benefits for LPs, etc) in order to push back against current negative PR
• ⏲️Establish a strategy and timeline to consolidate the various pieces of the SushiSwap ecosystem into one centralized location, and work towards creating an information hub that houses FAQs, explanations for beginners, reading materials and information on current proposals, and perhaps a blog/content series on DeFi basics that might not be explicitly specific to SushiSwap, but done with SEO considerations in mind after a keyword analysis in order to drive more users who are looking to learn more about DeFi to come to us as a resource and then hopefully convert into traders/liquidity providers.
• 📊Work to develop a thorough competitive analysis so that the goals and intentions of work going forward is properly prioritized into combating our threats and working to add value to the platform in areas of opportunity
• 🔣Create a media kit for publications and third parties with relevant visual standards, soundbites/standard blurbs, and other information to appropriately and respectfully represent our brand in other areas of the internet. In tandem, develop strategies and timelines for participating in interviews, podcasts, third party articles, connecting with crypto influencers, et cetera, in order to expand our brand reach, develop brand affinity, and create backlinks across the web for increased SEO value
