MOWIT 2024 Workday Volunteer Sign Up 
Welcome the sign up to our 2024 Volunteer “Workday” Opportunities!!  Our Workdays Program we partner with other 501(c)3 organizations to provide quality construction services for free.  This provides tradeswomen a chance to network and skill-up, and also is a wonderful opportunity for women in the public to get some tools in their hands in a safe and supportive environment.  
Generally for all workdays -- All welcome (all abilities, all ages 16 or over) Come learn with us!!
*Please bring PPE and hand tools if you have them!
*Event will occur rain or shine, unless notified!
*Lunch is always provided for full-day events, water always provided
*All volunteers must sign a waiver.

Events and Partners:

Reeb House - We are excited to partner with Historic Florissant for the Reeb House Demo and Clean Up Days!
We are proud to partner with the Carpenters' Sisterhood in the Brotherhood Program for this event.  We will be:  reading blueprints and planning construction, cleaning up, handling smoke- and fire-damaged materials, salvaging wood products, building a deck and roof to support the historic home, and more!  Join us!!

Camp Wyman - We are proud to support Camp Wyman in Eureka, MO as they host several build days. Wyman Leaders supports young people in St. Louis to develop life and leadership skills, enter and complete college and career education programs, and create strong community connections. Youth participate in camp experiences, individualized coaching, and enrichment activities.

Sherwood Forest Camp - Volunteer Trades Weekend.  This event is a fun event for Sherwood Forest supporters to help with a variety of projects that make our camp a better place for the kids who call it home during the summer. This year, the event will take place Friday April 19th - Sunday, April 21st at our campsite in Lesterville, Missouri.  Volunteers will be fed by a camp chef and can camp overnight at the Camp.  This is hosted by Sherwood forest and promoted by MOWIT.  Sign up to go here:  2024 Volunteer Trades Weekend Registration (google.com)

Keyway Center for Diversion and Re-Entry - Baker House!  MOWIT is proud once again to partner with Keyway.  This year we will help remodel 2 bathrooms at the Baker House so the units can be occupied by needing clients of Keyway.  Details to develop with specific dates soon!
