NJBIZ named seven companies and one individual as winners in the 2022 Business of the Year awards during a ceremony Dec. 13 at The Palace at Somerset Park.

The program honors those that have made significant contributions to help the state’s business community grow and prosper.

Company finalists for the awards – now in its 17th year – were selected in seven categories: Business of the Year (1-50 Employees), Business of the Year (51-100 Employees), Business of the Year (101+ Employees), Non-Profit of the Year (1-100), Non-Profit of the Year (101+), Corporate Citizen of the Year and Emerging Business of the Year.

Additionally, Donna Schempp, president and chief operating officer of SJI Renewable Energy Ventures, was honored as the 2022 Executive of the Year.

Chosen by an independent panel of judges made up of previous Business of the Year honorees, the winners and finalists are:
