On Monday, 27^th of December 2021, The Cyprus Institute was officially informed by the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB) of the Institute’s successful accreditation for best Human Resources and Health & Safety practices – Sound Industrial Relations (SIR) 2014 Certification.

The accreditation was given following a thorough assessment of the Institute’s relevant practices against a number of standards defined by the SIR Model, based on best practice and relevant legislations.

With this accreditation The Cyprus Institute reaffirms its commitment to constantly improve and develop its practices and working conditions for its staff and students.

The certification of “Sound Labor Relations - SIR 2014” is an important tool for the proper implementation of Cypriot labor legislation and practice in companies and organizations in Cyprus.

The organizations that are accredited with the specific certification gain significant benefits related to their internal operations and working conditions- mainly by ensuring compliance with best practice and the legislative framework. A special feature of SIR 2014 is that while it gives weight and focuses on issues of compliance with labor law, it also incorporates a number of proven best practices related to its goals.
