Forgot Login ID
This feature is for customers that have already created their profile and established a Login ID.
- If you have not created your profile, please return to the myPay homepage and select “Create Your myPay Profile”.
- To get started, you will need your Social Security Number and a temporary password.
If you have established a Login ID and have forgotten it, there are two methods to retrieve this information:
- You may enter your Social Security Number and Password and we will display your Login ID.
- TIP: If you do not have enough information to complete this request, you should click Forgot your Password on the Home Page and request a temporary Password. When you get your temporary Password, come back to this screen to retrieve your Login ID using your SSN and the temporary Password.
OR
- You may enter your previously registered email address and your Social Security Number and we will email your Login ID to you. To ensure the email is not filtered into your Spam, Junk or Bulk Mail folder, add dfas-smartdocs@mail.mil to your safe senders list before submitting your request.
18 U.S.C. § 1030 prohibits unauthorized or fraudulent access to government computer systems. If the credentials you enter are not your own, you are in violation of this law and should exit this system immediately. Completing this action may subject you to a fine of up to $5,000 or double the value of anything obtained via this unauthorized access, plus up to five years imprisonment.

Create your Account Access
This feature is for customers who have not created a Login ID for account access.
- To create a Login ID and profile you will need your Social Security Number and a temporary Password.
- Your initial temporary Password will automatically be generated after your pay has been established. For more information on when to expect your first Password, read about how new accounts are added..
- If 30 days have passed since you started receiving pay and you have not received your initial temporary Password, request one now.
