Services sector growth hits over 13-year high in March
AMID STRONG DEMAND conditions, India's services activity in March expanded at a much higher pace, with the services Purchasing Managers' Index rising to a 13-1/2 year high of 61.2 from 60.6 in February, data released on Thursday by S&P Global said.
"The upturn was largely attributed to healthy demand conditions, efficiency gains and positive sales developments. Indeed, companies signalled a substantial improvement in new order intakes during March," S&P Global said.
