BRENDAH NAMMANDE

Legal Research Associate

Brendah is an enthusiastic legal professional with close to 7 years’ experience in labour and employment law, land transactions, family law, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, legal research and project management.

She heads the Research Department at the firm. As head of this department, she is charged with taking the lead in undertaking in-depth research on a wide range of legal aspects she’s an asset to the team as she brings high level motivation and a results oriented approach required to meet the tightest of deadlines and cope up with our timely response to legal challenges.

Brendah is also the director of programs for Labour and Consumer Advocacy (LACA) a Non-Government Organization with thematic areas in both labour and consumer protection which areas she has a good experience in having worked with; GIZ on land rights and Administration Projects, Hague Institute for Innovation of Laws (HiiL) on Justice Needs Research, Legal Aid Service Providers’ Network (LASPNET) on the Legal Aid Bill and Uganda Christian Lawyers’ Fraternity (UCLF).

She is a member of the Uganda Christian Lawyer’s Fraternity (UCLF), International Federation of Women Lawyer (FIDA-Uganda) and the Rotary Club of Uganda.
