In commemoration of December 10th International Human Rights Day 2022, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Governance is awarding 10 human rights volunteers who work selflessly in communities all across Guyana to create positive change, and support the vulnerable and marginalized.
These awards specifically aim to recognize persons who work without remuneration, or funding while carrying out their voluntary work, and continue to advance their causes even with limited resources. The top three (3) nominees will receive a GY$75,000.00 cash donation whilst the other 7 nominees will receive a $50,000 cash donation as a contribution towards realizing the goals of their work.
All 10 nominees will be posted as a special feature on the Ministry’s Social Media pages.
Please fill out this form to complete a nomination of a human rights volunteer that you think is deserving of the award.
