Web Mage      

Web Development

A Web Mage is a powerful force, commanding the flow of code and processes to create the ultimate experience. They are an integral part of the IsekaiCon Team and thus require a moderately high level of commitment from each Mage.

• Assist in design and refinement of website concepts
• Writing in HTML, CSS, and other programming languages to develop the website
• Assist in maintaining website

Theater Bard

Panels Department

The Theater Bards are responsible for recruiting and caring for our panelists during their duration with IsekaiCon. They also help with creating the convention schedule and screening anime.

• Curate a selection of panels and streams to be featured during events for the year
• Create schedule for featuring the panels/streams
• Manage and review panel/stream run-throughs or overviews before the event to ensure things run smoothly during the event
• Facilitate communication between the convention and panelists/other streamers

Promotion Department

The PROMOTION SORCERERS are a creative force who help keep IsekaiCon in the spotlight and make sure everyone knows what we are up to! Our team is enthusiastic about great content and new ideas.

Word Warlock

Blogging Department

The WORD WARLOCKS know that the pen is mightier than the sword. They weave the words that build the foundation of IsekaiCon, and help the Con team as a whole with dotting its i's and crossing every t.

• Edit peer writings for grammatical, spelling errors and refinement
• Assist other departments with writing when needed

Exhibitor Druid

Exhibitor Alley Department

Exhibitor Druids are responsible for caring for our official exhibitors year to year. They judge and accept a unique variety of vendors for each of our events, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed. In addition to being in charge of our Exhibitor Alley, Exhibitor Druids act as advocates for all our exhibitors during their time with IsekaiCon.

• Facilitate communication between the convention and artists/vendors
• Advocate for confirmed artists and vendors if any issues arise

Coin Cleric

Financial Department

Coin Clerics have domain over the financial aspect of the convention. They are diligent, promptly recording expenses and income for the IsekaiCon Team. When other team members want to know the financial states, details, or check if goals are financially feasible, it is the Coin Clerics they call upon.

• Creates sponsorship contracts
• Manages any future crowdfunding endeavors

Community Ranger

Meet-Up and Cosplay Department

Community Rangers focus on building up and nurturing the community of IsekaiCon. They interact with cosplay and other fan communities adjacent to IsekaiCon to expand our community and reach.

• Promote our meet-ups in established online communities

Paladin of Service

Volunteer Department

Paladins of Service are responsible for overseeing our miscellaneous short-term volunteers.

The Paladins train volunteers for their tasks, build Help and Training guides, monitor applications and recruit new volunteers, and help Core Organizers with their tasks during volunteer downtime.

Gaming Department

Console Rogues are creative rascals who use the power of gaming to build and nurture the community of IsekaiCon

• Research and try out video games regularly that are easily accessible by most people. I.e. - free or cheap
• Emphasize gaming as a community building activity during convention downtime
• Schedule time within the events schedule for streaming of games
