Fall 2020 Newsletter

We have a new logo! Special thanks to India Crawley for her design!

Across Virginia, Proclamations are being issued recognizing National Diaper Need Awareness Week – September 21 – 27. The citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia are encouraged to make a difference with diapers for families in need by giving monetary donations to the closest organizations that distributes diapers or by hosting a diaper drive campaign at their business, schools, social clubs, places of worship or places of employment. Remember “Every Baby Matters” and we need your support to keep all babies healthy, safe and happy.

In October, the generous staff and patrons at our local Giant Food Stores will be holding a Diaper Drive Campaign supporting the NOVA Diaper Bank (Northern Virginia Diaper Bank). We are grateful for their help that will provide diapers to so many families with babies in need! Visit Giant Food Stores and/or have your own business-sponsored or individual diaper drive campaign. We make it easy with our online diaper campaign tool kit:

Spotlight on Special Heroes Making a Difference!

We especially thank Rosa Tobar, Program Assistant for INMED Partnerships for Children (https://InmedUSA.org) for her tireless work helping families in the community! Rosa is a super star!

We are very grateful for the generous donations of over 15,000 diapers and $1,750 from the Loudoun County Social Collective Group. This organization is “focused on helping each other further our career goals, strengthen our personal relationships and achieve success in our lives through sharing our thoughts, skills and recommendations with each other. They are a positive group and will uplift and inform each other in order to become assets to each other and our community.”  Be sure to like and follow them on Facebook!

We are a proud Member of the National Diaper Bank Network of over 200 diaper banks!
