Transgender Visibility Event in Salem

Hey all! The Black Excellence Committee was so inspired by how engaged and supportive our amazing community was of the End White Supremacy event that we decided to put our noses back to the grindstone and hold another gathering.
This event is to raise awareness for Trans visibility and suicide prevention in the trans community, with the goal of building a safe space for transgender, Non-binary individuals, in the Salem area. We will be learning & celebrating Anti-racism, along with building community!
Our funding will be used to compensate speakers and performers for their labor, purchase supplies, obtain permits/insurance, etc. If we have a surplus of funds at the end of our event, the remaining total will be donated to trans activist and support efforts in and around Salem.
