MSI to launch six QD-OLED monitors in the following months
A leaked roadmap containing information about MSI’s as-yet-unannounced monitors has surfaced.
Chi11eddog appears to have a reliable source within MSI, as the leaker has revealed a lot of information regarding the company’s upcoming devices, including their specifications and prices. Up next on the leak list are MSI’s upcoming QD-OLED monitors.
As outlined in the leaked roadmap, MSI is set to introduce a total of six models, with the first slated for a November release and the remainder scheduled for January. These monitors are likely to be showcased as part of MSI’s CES 2024 presentation.
The lineup will encompass a range of resolutions, including Dual-QHD (DQHD/5120×1440), Ultra-Wide QHD (3440×1440), UHD (3840×2160), and QHD (2560×1440) monitors, all of which will incorporate QD-OLED technology. These displays will be available within both the MAG and MPG product lines and will boast refresh rates ranging from 144Hz to an impressive 360Hz.

According to the leaker, the initial monitor in the lineup, the MAG 341CQP QD-OLED, will offer an Ultra-Wide QHD resolution, a curvature of 1800R, and a refresh rate of 175 Hz. It is purported to be a more budget-friendly alternative to the MEG 342C, currently priced at $999. While the MAG series is positioned as a lower-tier option, it may lack certain features found in the higher-end MEG series. Nevertheless, it is expected that the underlying panel technology will remain consistent between the two.
The remaining monitors will use flat display and either 4K 240Hz or WQHD 360Hz panels. Each model will launch under MPG and MAG series and will feature either Type-C 90W or 15W. The roadmaps indicate that although the announcement is expected in January, the actual product may be introduced later, through Q2.
