‘The Eken’ trailer: The ingenious ‘maachey bhaatey Bangali’ detective is back to solve a murder mystery

Ekenbabu is creating all the hype needed before his big-screen debut. After wooing the audience in the might web series universe Bengal’s ingenious detective will be making his film debut with ‘The Eken’ on April 14. And now, the much-awaited trailer is here to up the excitement bar.
In the mystery thriller directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, Anirban Chakrabarti essays the role of a detective who is disguised as an ordinary man. Eken Babu is funny, and not to forget, a connoisseur of food. It’s a mystery thriller wherein the turn of events challenge Eken Babu’s intelligence and observation skills in his hunt to find the murderer while vacationing in Darjeeling. His two sidekicks, played by Suhotra Mukhopadhyay and Somak Ghosh, accompany him as the mystery intensifies. The film promises to come up with a thrilling and fun-filled adventure in the mountains.

Also featuring Paayel Sarkar and Debasish Mondal in key roles, ‘The Eken’ is set to release in theatres on 14 April ahead of the auspicious occasion of Bengali New Year.

While the music has been given by Joy Sarkar, Chandril Bhattacharya has penned the lyrics. The first song from the film, sung by Cactus fame Sidhu and composed by Aamlaan Chakraabarty will be out on April 3.
