California releases new guidelines for youth sports
TEO: THANK YOU. ATHLETES, COACHES, AND PARENTS HAVE NEW GUIDANCE ON HOW TEAMS CAN PLAY DURING THE PANDEMIC. TONI: THE NEW RULES MEAN COMPETITIONS WILL BE SIDELINED EVEN LONGER. OTHER ACTIVITIES SHOULD FOCUS ON . INDIVIDUAL TRAINING FACE COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED DURING PHYSICAL CONDITIONING. STUDENTS SHOULD AVOID SHARING EQUIPMENT UNLESS IT CAN BE DISINFECTED BETWEEN USES. THIS APPLIES TO ALL YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS. FOR A LOT OF TEAMS THAT HAVE BEEN HOLDING CLINICS AND PRACTICES, THIS VERIFIES WHAT THEY ARE ALREADY DOING.
