This webinar, supported by the MEP Alliance for Newborn Screening, will bring together the Screen4Rare (S4R) founding organizations for an exchange of views mainly focusing on S4R workstreams with the three European Reference Networks - MetabERN, ERN RITA, Euro-NMD, and recommendation to prioritize this aspect of NBS in the next European institutional term. Recommendations might include the need to have newborn screening and a better integration of ERNs in the national healthcare systems (such as with the JARDIN joint action) and considered in the next European Commission priorities. It could also position NBS, as S4R usually encourages, as a beneficial theme to include in the upcoming agendas of the upcoming Presidencies of the Council of the European Union.
