I'm thrilled to share some big news - we're launching a search for a new CEO at Teach For Nigeria. This is an incredible opportunity to lead a passionate team and collaborate with amazing partners to transform the lives of millions of children in Nigeria.
You might be wondering, why I’m stepping down from such an impactful role? After nine years of steering the ship, I believe it's the right time to take a step back and reflect on how I want to spend the next decade of my professional life. Additionally, Teach For Nigeria is no longer a startup enterprise, and the next phase of growth will require a different set of skills and fresh perspective to propel our vision.
As a leader, it’s crucial to recognize when to step back, especially in endeavors aimed at fostering a fairer and more equitable society. My goal over the next two months is to navigate this transition gracefully.
My journey with Teach For Nigeria has been incredibly fulfilling, thanks to the countless individuals and the entire Teach For Nigeria community who contributed their energy, support, resources and passion.
By finding the right successor, I'm confident that we can ensure this movement continues to thrive and make a lasting impact. Please help us spread the word to find our next CEO.
