Trina excited about her first music video
Trina Saha is all set to mark her first solo feature in a music video with the iconic song Phagun Haway Haway. The new version of the Rabindrasangeet has been sung by Ishan Mitra and Shovon Ganguly has re-arranged it. The music video tells the story of a young girl and her decision to reminisce the festival by spending it at an old-age home to paint the lives of old people with the brightness of the colours.
Her loving and caring presence becomes a source of warmth, and delight for the elderly. The closeness creates a sense of adoration and emulsifies the nostalgia of the auspicious event of Holi.
Said Shovon, “Since it’s a Holi song, we wanted to maintain the joyous mood. The whole piece is crafted with love and I hope the audience appreciates it.”
Ishan on his part, added, “We all know that Phagun Haway Haway is one of the most iconic songs composed by Rabindranath Tagore. Shovon has re-arranged it in a very delightful way. It has been a gratifying opportunity for me to be able to lend my voice to this beautiful composition. I have sung Rabindra Sangeet before but the aura of this particular song is unmatchable. I hope that the viewers will love it as much as we have loved creating it.”
For Trina this is a special project. She said, “It is my first solo music video and honestly, the theme of the video mesmerised me. Spending any festival with your loved ones is always a bonus but when you celebrate with those who could really do with that happiness, it gives you a sense of comfort and peace.”
