YMCA MK provide local young people with a safe place to call home, people they can trust and support to fulfil their potential. Our young people already have the tools they need to belong, contribute, and thrive. Since 1981, we have supported over 10,000 young people.

Help to sponsor a Life-Changing Journey!

Our residents and staff are taking to the streets of Milton Keynes once again during the first week of March to challenge themselves to complete a Double Marathon challenge.

On Friday the 8th March residents will walk 26 miles and bike 26 miles to raise money to help fund a once in a lifetime overseas trip.

Our Double Marathon challenge this year is to support what will be for some of our residents, the trip of a lifetime.

An opportunity to step outside of our YMCA campus and Milton Keynes and experience a trip overseas to France later this year. We are in the early stages of planning with our residents, a trip to soak up the culture, food, and the benefits that these new experiences and travelling offer.

We need your support with fundraising to help make this happen – funds that will help us even before we depart, e.g. some of our young people may need a passport at a cost of £82.50, a cost that can only be met by fundraising as well as the overall travel costs including minibus, food, and accommodation.

This trip will leave lasting memories that could transform a young person’s life, helping to build their self-confidence and to open their eyes and help share the world of opportunities that are out there.
