About this ebook

It's no secret that I hate Phineas Yates, but what most people don't know is that I have a very good reason why. One hot summer, he broke my heart in the worst way, and I promised myself then and there that I would never fall prey to the sinner of Pembroke Prep again. Even if it meant re-inventing myself into a girl I barely recognized.

There is a fine line between duty and desire.

I'm not just any girl, I'm a princess. When my family begs me to get engaged to save the family name, I'm trapped with no way out. In a panic, I blurt out the ultimate lie and create myself a fake boyfriend. Which means I need someone to foot the bill immediately.

The problem? The only person willing to help me is the one person I never want to see again: the careless, heartless, hot-as-Hellfire playboy himself.

Phineas Yates.

The even bigger problem? His help doesn't come for free. And this sinner won't be satisfied with anything less than my absolute ruin.

Welcome to the Midnight Dynasty... The warring Morelli and Constantine families have enough bad blood to fill an ocean, and their brand new stories will be told by your favorite dangerous romance authors.

Oh, my thirsty V.... This book is very steamy. The hate/love sexy scenes had me fanning myself. Phineas was charming, smooth talking, swoon worthy. He's my favorite Hellfire. Aurora had high walls built around her heart and emotions, but Phin broke them down one orgasm at a time. I think that's what I loved the most. I enjoyed Phine and Aurora's journey.

I love the Hellfire Club boys and have been anxiously awaiting Phin and Aurora's story. Just so you know, yes you can very easily read this as a complete standalone but honestly, I'd be very surprised if you did because once you get a taste you are going to want more. Now, while I enjoyed this book, I have to admit I felt a little let down by the story and unfortunately, I ended up being very annoyed and often frustrated with Aurora. In some ways I truly felt for her but her actions continually put a damper on those feelings. In the end though there was no denying that these two were meant to be and I loved them as a couple. They could be very sweet, sizzling hot and gave me some major feels and swoon. I just wasn't a big fan of how we get there. This is my independent, impartial review.

⭐⭐⭐.5 Phineas Yates and Aurora Lincoln-Ward's story is my favorite of the Hellfire Club Series, to date. Becker Gray has created a hero in Phin who is perfect for our resident princess. He is exactly what she needs to help heal the wounds she has suffered at the hands of selfish, self-centered men. I enjoyed the dual points if view from Aurora and Phin. Their banter is both funny and witty. Their personalities are complimentary to each other. Their enemies-to-lovers story is fast-paced but has a depth that cannot be ignored. What I love most about this series of books is the close-knit group of friends who rally to protect and support each other in good and bad times. These Pembroke Academy friends who are family to each other have found a special spot in my heart. I am excited to read the next installment of the Hellfire Club Series.
