✨ Web2Learn's pro-bono action brings 2 coastal rowing vessels to the Nautical Club of Limnos! 👉 When our work brings much-needed benefits to local communities, then we know we did it right! #SocialResponsibility This time, we are extremely proud to share that the Nautical Club of Lemnos (NOL) acquired 2 #coastal #rowing boats through the EU-funded CROssING project. 🚣♀️ 🎯 NOL reached this important milestone thanks to Dr. Katerina Zourou, Managing Director of Web2Learn, who drafted the European proposal CROssING pro bono in March 2023, which was approved for funding and is now being implemented! 🚀 At Web2Learn, we are proud of this special milestone and sure of the #positive #impact these boats will have on NOL and in #Lemnos #society in general. CROssING (Coastal rowing for a green, intergenerational and gender-balanced future) is a 12-month project (2023-2024) financed by the European programme Erasmus+ Sports. Successful progress meeting of the CROssING project in Limnos, Greece! 📍On April 17 and 18, the CROssING project partnership held its progress meeting at the island of Limnos, Greece, hosted by the Nautical Club of Limnos (https://nol-limnos.gr/). 📌This 1-year Erasmus+ Sports project started officially on November 1, 2023, and aims to make coastal rowing a trigger for growth and development of European coastal zones in a future to be characterized by green, intergenerational and gender-balanced perspective. 🎯 During the meeting, partners organised their work ahead of the local and transnational regattas, while communication practices and coordination issues were addressed to ensure smooth implementation of the project. 💯💯 CROssING is coordinated by Ligue Provence-Alpes Cote d’Azur d’Aviron (FR).
