Christmas Break Volunteer Registration

Location

Wyoming Food for Thought Project will be packing for the 17-day Christmas Break on Wednesday, December 16th starting at 2pm.

In the past, we have had a great turnout of volunteers - such a great turnout, in fact, that we have found ourselves with too many bodies for the day, which significantly slows the packing down. So this year, in addition to restrictions because of COVID, we are implementing a volunteer registration.

We are looking for 10 volunteers per hour from 2pm-5pm. Volunteer tasks include:

• Get reusable bags ready for packing
• Unload box truck of food
• Organize the packing room
• Count all food items to make sure we have enough
• Pack food bags
• Run filled bags downstairs
• Top bags off with bread
• And more

We also have sponsorship opportunities available for this packing, which will help cover the cost of the 60,000+ meals we will distribute for Christmas Break.
