I spend most of my free time loving my daughter (born 2016) I work full time at a dull job, so when not at work I love making lace, and it would make me so happy to create a piece for you. Please contact me so it can be perfect. Thanks 😊

Frequently asked questions

What is tatting?

Often referred to as a "lost art" tatting is a technique of making lace that dates back to the early 17th century. Using a shuttle, thread is manipulated to make thousands of tiny knots into lovely sequences. It was popular among noble ladies who would spend hours tatting and chatting. Tatting, unlike crochet, will not simply unravel if a single thread is pulled. This is great because it makes the lace sturdier, however it makes mistakes a lot more difficult to fix. Tatting creates beautiful lace, but it is very time consuming, so made to order items can take a longtime to process.

Why is the processing so long?

Tatting takes a long time. In addition, I have a full time job outside of my Etsy Shop. I also have a newborn, and quite often I can't get out my shuttles to work on custom orders for days at a time. I will do everything in my power to make all custom orders as quickly as possible.

Why don't you ship out of the US?

I am more than willing to ship outside of the US, but I have not yet had the opportunity to investigate appropriate shipping information.
Interested International Buyers please contact me to purchase. I would be happy to learn proper shipping procedures to where you live.

Care instructions

If soiled, tatted lace can be hand washed carefully with mild soap. Dry flat, and then iron as desired. White lace can be bleached if desired.

If you would like your lace to be stiffer you can gently brush your lace with a mixture of glue and water.
