This year, we are delving deeper into the essence of contemporary circus, particularly focusing on circus dramaturgy. To guide us through this exploration, we are honored to host the one and only Jean-Michel Guy, a distinguished figure in the realm of contemporary circus. He will lead an engaging seminar on contemporary circus show reading. The seminar will span two days, divided into two parts, during which we will embark on a journey of critical and aesthetic analysis of circus performances, as well as delve into the dramaturgical concepts. Together with participants, Jean-Michel Guy will analyze video recordings and performances seen at the festival. Seminar is open to everyone eager to explore contemporary circus, either on professional level or as curious spectator.
