An impartial, fair, and honest judiciary is key to creating a system of social justice and economic and political development in a country. Therefore, in June of 2021, the Ukrainian government announced the creation of the Ukrainian Judicial Ethics Council, which is charged with reviewing the integrity of the current members and selecting members of Ukraine's highest judicial governance body, the High Council of Justice.
