UPDATE: This event has been canceled due to inclement weather. However, the eclipse may be viewed from home if your sky is somewhat clear. The partial eclipse will be visible on the Moon beginning at 10:30 pm ET, and the total eclipse or "blood Moon" phase will begin at 11:30 pm and last until 12:55 am ET.

Do you ever look up at the night sky and wonder what exactly you're seeing above you? We're here to help! Stargaze with us at our Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia! Join staff and members of the Northern Virginia Astronomy Club for an evening of stargazing. We'll help you use our telescopes to observe planets, stars, and more.

You’ll also have a chance to observe a total lunar eclipse, which will reach total eclipse around 11:30 pm ET.
