What are the eligibility criteria for Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trade Stream?

Mentioned below is the list of eligibility criteria applicants falling under the Ontario Express Entry’s Skilled Trade Stream:

  • Applicant must have CLB 5 or higher in each of the four modules.
  • Applicant must have sufficient proof of funds to support themselves and their family members (if they are accompanying the primary applicant).
  • Applicants must have the intension of living in Ontario permanently post the grant of Canada Permanent Residence Visa.
  • Applicant must be living in Ontario and have a valid work permit at the time of visa application.
  • Applicant must also hold valid certificate or license (if required) to meet one year of work experience in an eligible skilled trades occupation.
  • Applicants need to have one year of cumulative paid full time work experience.
