Short-term consultancy: Exploration of Regional Advocacy Opportunities for Malala Fund in Africa Deadline to apply: 31st January 2023 Malala Fund is looking for a consultant to facilitate exploration of approaches for regional advocacy in the Africa region. Through this project Malala Fund expects to gain a deeper understanding of what a feminist approach to advocacy in the Africa regions/sub-regions looks like and how Malala Fund can add value. The purpose of this is to inform our strategy, research and advocacy of the new domain. This consultancy would include some core analysis, such as understanding of the regional context in terms of the stakeholders and main actors involved, the current approaches and strategies in practice, and identify opportunities and gaps. The work will guide whether Malala Fund would have added value by focusing on grant-making, networking, movement-building, engagement, mobilisation and / or pressure building for example. The consultant will work with Malala Fund’s regional advocacy working group to conceptualise options for Malala Fund to implement over the next 18-24 months and help to build a learning framework the team can use throughout the implementation phase.
